The Student Education Association of Massachusetts is excited to announce that they will be the host state for the NEA-SP (National Education Association-Student Program)’s Northeast Regional Conference. This conference will be held on March 3rd and 4th, 2017. The conference is the result of a GPS (Greater Public Schools) Grant.

In addition to SEAM members, other student program members from Maine, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut will be attending.

While the topics of the workshops are being decided on by the Northeast Region Student Conference Planning Committee at this time, workshop ideas discussed by the committee included: How to Teach & Know your Students*, Students with Trauma*, Classroom Management*, Literacy in the Classroom*, How to Create a Safe Classroom Environment*, and Differentiated Instruction*

This conference will also focus on aspects of Servant Leadership and how to build up your individual campus chapters, as well as your state. More information to come soon.
